A Web Ring or Net Ring is a group of websites whose web masters
have joined together in a cooperative effort to promote their web
pages. When a viewer accesses a member site, he will find an array of
links like the one in the illustration below that when clicked on
will take the viewer to the next member site, the previous member
site or a random site in the ring. Usually 'rings are topic
s
ensitive,
for example all member sites might be genealogy related or in this
case businesses and organizations in a specific city or region. So
in effect you can gain FREE exposure to your web site by joining as
many web rings as possible. Some web site owners elect to join a
dozen or more such rings. Think about it. Whenever a viewer pulls up
a member site he can also find your site from the links on other
member sites.
The Ozarks Regional net Ring is dedicated to giving business and organizations in the Missouri Ozarks free advertising in hopes of building the economic infrastructure of the region. Please Join Now. When you complete and submit the join form on the home page, we will review your site and then authorize the server computer to recognize your web page. The HTML code that generates the array in the above illustration will be provided to you.
